Building Community to Assert and Defend the Dignity of All People
Community comes first. Always.
With that community comes the power to change things.
Support
Building community builds the tools to support our neighbors. That can look like STANDing in solidarity with those harmed by bad policy, providing resources for folks to build local networks, or even just delivering groceries to neighbors. It’s the heart in what we do.
This looks like: mutual aid, food distribution, rapid response, and neighborhood-level care.
Communicate
Building community builds a platform to speak truth to power. We use our voices and our rights advocate for dignity-first policy, platform marginalized communities, and remind our communities that we are all deserving of justice, equity, and respect.
This looks like: public writing, media engagement, storytelling, and policy-facing education.
Protest
Building community builds the credibility to push back. We use protest not as an end in itself but as a tool to remind leadership of the power that the people retain. By the people, for the people, where all people are created equal and endowed with certain inalienable rights. Nothing less.
This looks like: peaceful demonstrations, coalition actions, and visible moral resistance.
